狭間 Hazama is a poignant 15-minute film I wrote, produced, and directed. It's a hybrid production blending live-action footage and AI visual effects. It carries the endorsement of Suicide Zero, a Swedish non-profit working to prevent suicide among young people, and the support of Runway, who granted access to their complete AI toolkit.

The title draws from Japanese — meaning a gap, an in-between, a liminal space. The film is a love letter to Tokyo and a bridge between Swedish and Japanese cultures, both of which are close to my heart. Its central themes around perinatal mental health are woven into a story designed to inspire not only those who feel they don't belong, but anyone moved to spark meaningful change in their lives and communities. A heartfelt endeavor a year and a half in the making, it finally sees the light of day thanks to the unwavering belief and support of incredible institutions, studios – including Infinity Studios Sweden, Karlsborg Kommun, Montana and Cuebric New York – and artists Moby, the Jóhann Jóhannsson Estate, Lee Ranaldo & Michael Valera, J.S. Bach/ SBE Musik.
